Hayley Ashkenas M.S.W., ASW
Preferred Pronouns: she/her
Hayley is a warm, thoughtful, and relational therapist who believes that healing happens in the context of connection. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, she brings an embodied understanding of the ways identity, belonging, and safety intersect—especially for those navigating systems that have historically left them unseen. Her approach is collaborative, nonjudgmental, and grounded in deep respect for the unique story each person brings into the room.
Hayley works with adults, couples, and students navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief and loss, trauma (individual, collective, and intergenerational), identity exploration, sexuality, gender, and neurodivergence. She integrates psychodynamic, somatic, mindfulness-based, and anti-oppressive frameworks to support her clients in moving toward more centered, connected, and meaningful lives.
Before joining Belonging Partnership, Hayley trained in diverse clinical settings including community mental health, university counseling centers, and residential care. Her international experience living and working across the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and North Africa has shaped a culturally humble, globally-informed lens. She holds advanced training from Smith College School for Social Work, the Harvard School of Medicine, and the Austen Riggs Center.
She is supervised by Dr. Grange Isaacson, (Licence #23716) (Registration # 120861).
