Karae is passionate about empowering her clients to reclaim their personal power and create lives of fulfillment and balance. With her compassionate presence, cultural insight, and advanced therapeutic skills, Karae is dedicated to guiding her patients on a transformative journey toward healing and well-being.

Raised in the heart of The Bay Area, Karae’s biggest dream has always been to give back to her community and to assist patients who may face challenges in marginalized communities by creating a safe and affirming inclusive therapeutic space.  Karae graduated with a Bachelor in Social Work from Sacramento State University and received a Master’s degree in Social Work from Brandman University in 2021. Before joining the Belonging Partnership team in 2023, Karae worked in an inpatient psychiatric hospital, a dual diagnosis residential treatment facility as well as a hospice setting.

Karae’s integrative approach ensures the therapy she delivers is both practical and deeply personal.  Incorporating creativity and useful coping skills, Karae’s techniques empower her clients to build healthier coping strategies and stronger emotional connections. 

As an  Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) practitioner, Karae has advanced clinical training to assist her clients in processing trauma and overcoming the challenge from symptoms of anxiety, depression, and relationship struggles through this evidence-based method. Karae is supervised by Dr. Grange Isaacson, (Licence # 105332)
