If you’re feeling unsure about therapy, anxious about opening up, or just not sure where to start, Sam knows how to help you find your footing and allow healing to unfold at each client’s pace.  His easygoing warmth and grounded presence help people relax and feel at ease quickly. He brings his genuine self into the room, making therapy feel less like a clinical appointment and more like a supportive conversation.

Sam is a Filipino clinician and Bay Area native who is passionate about helping people feel seen, understood, and empowered to make meaningful change. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Dominican University of California and his Master of Social Welfare from UCLA.

Using a trauma-informed, collaborative approach, Sam tailors each session to meet clients where they are. His work integrates mindfulness, psychodynamic insight, and strengths-based strategies to build resilience, emotional awareness, and a deeper sense of belonging.

He has supported youth, college students, graduate students and other adults in a range of settings from schools to residential and community programs, helping people navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. Rooted in equity, inclusion, and care for the whole person, Sam’s goal is to help you move toward balance, confidence, and connection at your own pace.
